SURVIVAL TOOLKIT FOR THE YOUNG ADULT
The Survival toolkit for your young adult is a program for 17-26 year-olds launching in August offering a psychological and Christian-based approach to preparing your young adult not just for college, career but all-round life process The program offers a way to stop worrying about the future by creating one, by being proactive in learning and or reinforcing these 8 essential skills that don’t just boost your job and college applications; but as well give you a leg up in handling life on life’s terms
A survey done by Upskill showed that ⅔ of young adults between ages 18-35 didn’t feel prepared to deal with or engage in adult expectations and employment. Most felt underequipped to deal with life on life’s terms.
They reported that the expectations they felt pressed on them were of skills they did not have and were not formally trained in.
And that is why she deems it necessary to train young adults on these most important life skills for thriving.
For the next three weeks during this school holiday. I will be teaching these EIGHT essential and amazing principles that I believe every single human being should learn in order to THRIVE in life.
Some things feel like common sense but the reality is that a formal and direct approach is the best way to ensure these values are impactful.
Here’s a sneak peek into what to expect.
Traditionally,Our societies took massive measures to prepare young adults for life thereafter.
This process was formal, long-lasting, and extremely impactful.
In this specific boot camp, the goal is to revive a very functional part of society and life that was working wonders and society should have never let go of.
Consider this program your child’s initiation into adulthood. Combining Christian values, psychological counseling and training, as well as professional skills give your child the best chance at making it in life.
We will be addressing this same issue, issuing them the tools they need to navigate their way through complex matters and changes in the phases that are life.
A combination of one-on-one sessions, mental acuity test, attachment style test, emotional maturity tests, and actionable solutions to each of the topics addressed.
